Stranglehold – Why didn’t I get this sooner?

So recently I was at GameStop and wanted to pick up some older used titles. I walked around checking out what they had before I had settled on Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2, because I’ve watched Swift and others play and it seemed like fun, and also Shadowrun, ugh don’t ask. Well as you can probably guess when I started playing Shadowrun, I didn’t quite get into it. It wasn’t that it was a bad game (not completely), but more that it just wasn’t the one for me.

So anyway, thanks to GameStop’s lovely used game policy, I was able to return Shadowrun. When I did I knew exactly what I was getting. See earlier this week after hating Shadowrun, I went online and downloaded some demos. Strangleholdhappened to be one of those. To me, I find Stranglehold pretty fun. The slow action, gun slinging just seemed to draw me in. So I ended up getting the actual game at GameStop.

So far I’ve only played a few missions, but I am enjoying it. I like the skills you have such as the Tequila time, the precision aim, and others. I think even after I beat it, I may find myself playing it over again or at least it won’t just sit on my shelf and get no use. Plus I have yet to see if the multiplayer still has anyone logging in and playing. Only time will tell.
